The Association for General and Applied Microbiology (VAAM) unites about 3500 microbiologically oriented scientists from Germany and neighboring countries. The VAAM promotes scientific information exchange and cooperation among its members with the aim of implementing research results in microbiology for the benefit of society and the environment.
VAAM members also serve as valued contacts for questions from the public.
