Annual Membership Fees
As of January 1, 2020, the following new membership fees will apply:
- 95 euros ordinary members
- 80 euros ordinary members - dual members of DGHM, GBM and Dechema
- 55 euros pensioners
- 30 euros student or job-seeking members (current proof absolutely necessary!), members on maternity leave or on parental leave.
- Company members: by agreement
According to section 3, paragraph 4 of the statutes, the membership fee is to be collected by direct debit.
From 2014, an additional transfer fee of 10 euros will be charged for bank transfers. The respective return debit fee will also be charged for incorrect account details.

Persons living outside Europe have the option of having their membership fee debited from their MasterCard or Visa card. To do this, the office requires the credit card number, the period of validity and the card verification number (the last 3 digits on the back of the card in the signature field).

If you have forgotten to confirm your student status and have been upgraded to a full member, you can have this corrected at the office, either by providing proof of your student status with a certificate of enrolment or by having your supervising university lecturer confirm the expected end of your doctoral thesis. After deducting a processing fee of 10 euros, the excess amount paid will be refunded to you.
