FEMS Grants
Members of FEMS national societies can receive financial support for the organisation of meetings and - under certain conditions - for attending congresses, and young scientists can apply for a grant towards their travel expenses for research visits to European institutions.
The application deadlines must be observed, details of the application conditions are presented on the relevant FEMS websites and applications are made online.

NEW: FEMS Industry Placement Grant
For up to 3-month research stays of young scientists in a European company to gain experience in the field of microbiology. Applications are possible on 1 February and 1 August of each year.
FEMS Ukraine Support Grant
This special funding programme was introduced in April 2022 and serves to support young researchers from Ukraine who have been affected by the war.
