Goals of the VAAM

The Association for General and Applied Microbiology (VAAM) brings together about 3500 microbiology-oriented scientists from German and neighboring countries. The VAAM promotes the scientific exchange of information and cooperation among its members, with the aim of implementing research results in microbiology for the benefit of society and the environment.
